At GlowAura Beauty, we are committed to providing exceptional virtual beauty services and professional training programs. We understand that circumstances may arise requiring cancellations or refunds. This Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding refunds, cancellations, and related matters.

1. General Refund Principles

Our refund policy varies based on the type of service or program purchased. We strive to be fair and transparent while maintaining the sustainability of our business and compensating our beauty professionals and instructors appropriately.

1.1 Good Faith Policy

All refund requests are evaluated in good faith. We expect clients to exercise similar good faith when requesting refunds. Abuse of our refund policy may result in denial of future refund requests or suspension of account privileges.

2. Virtual Consultation Services

2.1 Cancellations Made 24+ Hours in Advance

If you cancel a scheduled virtual consultation at least 24 hours before the appointed time, you are eligible for a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional charge. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.

2.2 Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours in Advance

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session are subject to a 50% cancellation fee to compensate for the professional's reserved time. The remaining 50% will be refunded or may be applied as credit toward a future booking.

2.3 No-Show Policy

If you fail to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice (no-show), the full session fee will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued. We reserve the right to restrict future bookings for clients with multiple no-shows.

2.4 Technical Difficulties

If technical issues on our end prevent a scheduled consultation from taking place, you will receive a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule at your convenience. If technical difficulties on your end (e.g., poor internet connection, device malfunction) prevent the session, our standard cancellation policy applies.

2.5 Service Quality Concerns

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of a virtual consultation, please contact us within 48 hours of the session. We will review your concerns and may offer a partial refund, complimentary follow-up session, or other appropriate remedy based on the circumstances.

3. Professional Training Programs

3.1 Full Refund Eligibility Period

You may request a full refund for any professional training program within 7 days of enrollment, provided that:

  • You have not accessed more than 20% of the course materials
  • You have not attended any live training sessions
  • You have not downloaded or copied any proprietary materials
  • No certificate of completion has been issued

3.2 Partial Refunds (8-30 Days After Enrollment)

Between 8 and 30 days after enrollment, you may be eligible for a partial refund calculated as follows:

  • 75% refund if less than 30% of materials have been accessed
  • 50% refund if between 30-50% of materials have been accessed
  • No refund if more than 50% of materials have been accessed

3.3 No Refunds After 30 Days

No refunds will be issued for training programs more than 30 days after the enrollment date, regardless of progress or circumstances. This policy allows us to maintain program integrity and compensate instructors fairly.

3.4 Payment Plan Enrollments

If you enrolled in a training program using a payment plan:

  • Refunds during the eligible period will be calculated based on payments made to date, minus any applicable deductions
  • Canceling a payment plan enrollment does not absolve you of payments due for services already rendered
  • Outstanding payment plan balances may be sent to collections if not resolved

4. Certification and Examination Fees

4.1 Examination Fees

Fees paid for certification examinations are non-refundable once the examination has been scheduled. If you need to reschedule an exam, you may do so up to 48 hours in advance without penalty. Late rescheduling or failure to appear will result in forfeiture of the examination fee.

4.2 Re-Examination

If you do not pass a certification exam on the first attempt, you may retake it for a reduced fee (typically 50% of the original examination cost). No refunds are provided for failed examinations.

5. Product Recommendations and Third-Party Purchases

GlowAura Beauty may recommend beauty products, tools, or equipment during consultations and training programs. We do not sell these products directly, and we are not responsible for refunds, returns, or issues related to products purchased from third-party retailers.

6. Digital Content and Materials

6.1 Non-Refundable Digital Downloads

Once digital content such as e-books, guides, templates, or recorded sessions has been downloaded or accessed, it is considered delivered and is non-refundable. Ensure you review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

7. Refund Processing

7.1 Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

7.2 Method of Refund

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to alternative payment methods or accounts.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address associated with your account
  • Order number or booking confirmation number
  • Detailed reason for the refund request
  • Preferred resolution (refund, rescheduling, or credit)

We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days with a decision and next steps.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your credit card company or financial institution without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with us, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account and access to services
  • Pursue recovery of any disputed funds through legal means
  • Report fraudulent chargebacks to relevant authorities

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can work together to resolve any concerns.

10. Modifications to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
